My goal this week was to knit a bunch of test swatches of patterns that I like. Well, I’m obviously still a beginner knitter because I keep screwing up and nothing looks right. Or maybe I’m just having a bad week. Either way, I’ve tried to knit 3 different patterns and have torn them all up and thrown them away. I believe my biggest problem is that I don’t feel inspired by anything and nothing looks like fun to knit. With no definite project in mind, it’s hard for me to really focus.
I’m thinking I’m going to finally have to invest in an actual knitting book. The kind with lots of pictures and specific instructions.
