Jax is so good at being a model for my knitting. He helped me size this sweater up through all of its stages and I have to say, it turned out pretty good. It’s a toddler size 2 and is a little long on the arms and lengthwise, which will be good for growing toddlers! My husband joked that I should put a horseshoe on the front so it’ll be a Colts’ sweater. Even though I didn’t want to, I had to buy another skein of Lion Brand yarn so I could finish up the sleeves. So yet again, I’m stuck with 95% of a skein of yarn that’s too small for anything outrageous but too little for anything else (that I can knit anyway).
I definitely want to knit one of these for Jax, but it’ll probably be in a lighter cotton/linen yarn. Hardly any of us really wear sweaters anyway. But I think something light will be perfect.
